Chairman - Mr. Dilip Bharatee

Mr. Dilip is an Alumni of the College of Technology and Engineering from the batch of 1978-84. He is a software industry veteran from Bangalore. He joined the software Industry after completing his master’s from Indian Institute of Management Mumbai in 1986. He was the first employee of Sonata Software limited and handled Business development for the European Market. He played a key role in making Sonata software public in 1998. He along with his wife Ms. Archana Bharatee started their IT consulting services company Ecom Science Consulting Private Ltd. in the year 2000. He works with several start-up software companies to provide the Sales and Marketing direction and advisory.

He has been volunteering for 12 years with Parijat Academy, a school for underprivileged children in Guwahati, and Vidya the Living School in Assam. He co-founded Joonbai Handloom Foundation, promoting reusable sanitary pads “Janani”, and set up production centers across Assam, expanding to Mizoram and Tripura. He also helped establish a banana fiber extraction unit at Vidya, providing youth with entrepreneurship training.
